March 2021.

My diorama 'Living Boundaries- Amargosa Basin', which I made following my inspiring residency at the 7J ranch, by Beatty in southern Nevada, courtesy of The Nature Conservancy, is on show at the Sierra Arts Foundation, part of a collective exhibit on Wild Nevada.

The Amargosa basin is the border where two very different ecosystems meet, that of the Great Basin and the Mojave desert. As such, it provides a singular habitat for unique fauna and flora. With the impact of climate change, its boundaries are changing, disappearing, and shifting northwards.
