July 2019. I am thrilled to have received grants from the Nevada Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Basque Studies Society Eusko Ikaskuntza Iparralde and the Basque Cultural Institute Euskal Kultur Erakundea, and private donors Savage and Son and Heidemarie Rochlin, to help with my project of painting portraits of Nevadan Basques.
